- Route data is retained until deleted by the user
- User accounts are soft-deleted upon request

These Terms govern your use of the SafetyFirstRoutes mobile application, operated by Bit by Bit (Pty) Ltd.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use this App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
2. Nature of the Service
SafetyFirstRoutes provides route planning and community-based safety information based on user-reported incidents and algorithmic analysis. The App is intended for informational purposes only.
3. No Guarantee of Safety
The App provides safety scores and recommendations based on available data. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of this information. Use of the App does not ensure your safety. You use the App entirely at your own risk.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to update it as necessary.
5. User-Generated Content
Users may submit incident reports and other content. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content within the App.
You agree not to submit content that is:
- False, misleading, or fraudulent
- Defamatory or harmful
- Abusive, threatening, or harassing
- In violation of any law
6. Incident Reporting
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of incident reports you submit. Misuse of this feature may result in suspension or termination of your account.
7. Location Data
The App requires access to your location to function. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of your location data as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property in the App, excluding user-generated content, remains the property of the Company.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms.
